Aisya in August 2004

Images of Aiysa made a month after her 2nd birthday. Her speech is a bit more varied than a few months before and it's now appearing to be more obvious that she is trying her best to mimick every new sounds or words she hears. She tries very hard sometimes repeating every word several times until she gets it right. And then there is Ali who sometimes helps her with new pronunciations ... "KAT-TER-PIL-LAH".

Her independence never wavers, she only eats and drinks by herself what she likes. Noodles, strawberries, ice-cream and mommy's watercress soup, she'll stuff herself by the bowl full. Try giving her something not quite to her taste and you'll spending hours to get her to finish tree bites or gulps: this includes milk and everything else other than snoepjes.
